** Customer Spotlight **

ODILO continues to be impressed with our awesome customers, not only with how they provide essential digital content for their diverse communities, but also because they are just cool libraries overall. Check out a few below:

Austin Public Library

Located in the ever-trendy Austin, Texas, the Austin Public Library (APL) offers an awesome website for their patrons to easily navigate and explore, featuring new eBooks, programs and events, popular reads, and key community info. APL provides knowledge, technology, and inspiration to the entire Austin community, and is a hub of books, education, a meeting place of minds, and an incubator of ideas.

Earlier this summer, APL offered even more eBooks to their communities using ODILO. In fact, to make it easier for patrons, APL offers two different ODILO platforms in English and Spanish, featuring a variety of popular eBooks and streaming eAudiobooks. All titles from ODILO can be checked out and enjoyed in three clicks or less, to read in browsers or on any mobile device using ODILO apps. APL is particularly excited about their new Spanish content from ODILO. “Spanish-speakers make up more than 30 percent of our community, and now Austin Public Library will offer thousands of native, popular, and bestselling titles,” said Library Director Brenda Branch. “This provides quality Spanish content our customers want.”

Indyreads, a unique digital content management platform managed by the State Library of New South Wales (Australia) and powered by ODILO, is currently being piloted at two different public libraries, City of Parramatta Library and Leichhardt Library. If these names sound familiar, you may have recently read about Indyreads in American Libraries magazine. ODILO staff love sharing the Indyreads site with prospects and customers, because it is a stellar example of how best to use the ODILO platform. Indyreads brings together all types of digital content, whether bestsellers, local authors, self-published content, oral histories, video, audio, popular titles from key subjects, or even physical books and materials.

The Library Network

The Library Network (TLN) is a public library cooperative in southeast Michigan providing and facilitating quality services to their member libraries. Passionate about libraries working together to better serve their communities, TLN member libraries select their individual level of service use. TLN is one of ODILO’s first consortia customers in the United States. Their insight, experience, and feedback has been extremely instrumental in improving our platform, marketplace, and other services. Currently, there are 45 TLN libraries who share the TLN-ODILO platform featuring hundreds of eBooks and eAudiobooks. While many are small libraries, they offer amazing services and quality materials to their communities. Check out some of TLN’s libraries below:
